Are you ready to join a band and groove in a group setting? Learn familiar favorites with friends! Whether you are in Grades 3-5, 6-8, 9-12, or an Adult, we have a place for you!

INTRO TO INSTRUMENTS

AGES 5-8

This class is designed for those that are beginning on their journey in Piano, Guitar, Drums or Bass. They will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of their instrument and music in a group setting with others that are on a similar learning path.

ROCK & POP | JAZZ And R&B | Worship

This is an opportunity to have a weekly group practice to learn Fun radio songs on. Through collaboration and creativity, students will continue to grow in their music skills, and form a deeper appreciation for their musical talents. Students have the opportunity to learn basic skills and concepts that will be applied to their songs of interest.

Students are also encouraged to continue their training in weekly private lessons as this is where they will learn deeper skills as it pertains to their instrument of interest.

SONGWRITING

AGES 12 and beyond

Songwriting is an opportunity have a weekly group songwriting session. Through collaboration and creativity, students learn and develop skills in songwriting. When songs are finished, students have the opportunity to book studio time and record their originals.

Students are also encouraged to continue their training in weekly private lessons as this is where they will learn deeper skills as it pertains to their instrument of interest.

FAQs

  • Group music is an amazing and practical way to keep the passion of music alive. While nothing can ever take place of traditional music lessons, learning and pursuing music in a group setting is a unique and valualble experience that will be cherished for years to come.

  • The short answer is yes! Learning fundamentals of music on one instrument will carry over to other instruments. Obviously, if a student has found a passion for a new instrument, we will eventually encourage them to sign up for private lessons on that new instrument.

  • Yes! The important thing is for students to understand basic music terms, such as quarter note, rest, C major. The beautiful thing about playing in a band is that the onboarding process for students to join is pretty fast! If they have interest and patience, we can train them!

  • At the academy, we will be sure to have one of each instrument available in the selection of Keyboard, Acoustic Guitar, Bass, Drumset. Students are welcome and encouraged to bring an instrument of their own!
